Well we are about a month away from the next big adventure in our lives. This time I am so excited that Kelsey will be joining me going to Haiti! Kelsey will be 19 a week before we go and at this point she is not nervous just excited to go.
I am really hoping that within the next day or two the Lowell Rotary Club will get word on whether or not we have been approved for an $87,300 grant that I helped put together. This has been an extremely tiresome journey to write this grant along with the founder of Starfysh, Steve Edmondson, talk to the Rotary group in Haiti that we are partnering with, and discuss the items needed for the grant with the Rotary International. I could not be prouder to be a Rotarian.
For those that know my situation, you know that it took much convincing of my husband to give me the go ahead to venture out again.
